We’re hiring a VP of Business Development.
The VP of Business Development will be a key member of Rogue Paper’s team. This person will drive all sales and business development initiatives for new opportunities with web, mobile, and emerging media partners. This role will work closely with Product Management and Engineering to push the boundaries of an compelling, market-making product for audience engagement for media and entertainment companies.
This is an important and strategic role within the company, and our expectations are equally high! The VP of Business Development will prospect and close new business opportunities for TV Tune-In and to help prioritize customer requirements for new products and services. Located in New York or Los Angeles. The ideal candidate is both a hustler and detail-oriented, has proven business development skills, understanding of the mobile and social landscape, and has a strong media background.
-Create and manage the overall business development and sales process at Rogue Paper, with support from Rogue Paper’s parent company resources
-Full responsibility for achieving revenue targets and sales goals for the product line
-Ability to work with remote teams
-Be an expert on other products in the marketplace
Desired experience and expertise:
-Minimum 12 years experience as in a sales or business development role for media or mobile product (B2B or B2C)
-Proven track record of being able to sell products into media and entertainment companies with consistent performance above targets
-Roll-up-your-sleeves entrepreneurial attitude
-Natural ability to relate to customers and prospects
-Ability to work with different people across a team effectively
