We’ve got spirit, yes we do

Participating in March Madness (and other forms of madness), the Rogue Paper team was happily busy with the launch of the Duke GameTime app.  While watching all the games with Blue Devil fans from around the world, we couldn’t help but get into the spirit of the game.

Caught up in the beautiful, brutal struggle of the NCAA tournament, we realized the power of the TV tune-in platform – it brings everyone closer to a shared experience, increasing the engagement for all.  We hereby designate the following individuals as recipients of our “Spirit” award – our biggest fans and star players from the past week.

1) Our CTO’s 8 year old son, commenter extraordinaire – As further testament to the superior grasp the younger generation has of new technology, our CTO’s 8-year old niece spent 30 minutes commenting on the platform and did not want to quit.  Confirming his preference for the second screen experience, he noted he “couldn’t comment” if the game was on the same screen – it “wouldn’t be the same experience.”  Next up for TV Tune-in…Tween media content.

2) Jason K., QA extraordinaire – Jason, an avid Blue Devils fan, was nice enough to send us a hello(@roguepaper) to let us know that we were missing some crucial information…and to let us know how much he appreciated the app.  Jason, thank you, thank you, thank you…we owe you lunch.

3) Stephanie Boyle, fearless multi-talented leader – As with any growing tech company, we always are tweaking our product to ensure an experience which amazes and delights through a unique delivery of content.  Or, in non-biz speak, we want you to like us.  Steph dove straight into the code and was everywhere all the time ensuring a seamless experience for the user.

At Rogue Paper, we are a spirited bunch who want to provide ya’ll with the most engaging, fun, and pervasive media experience.  We’ve got spirit, how about you?
